ITZ is a locally owned security solutions company specializing in low-voltage cabling and system design.

Founded in 1996, we serve the Capital District with professional wiring and security services. Our experienced technicians are customer-focused and trained to handle projects of all sizes, from standard installations to complex system designs. With thousands of successful installations completed, ITZ delivers dependable, high-quality work and exceptional customer service.

Licensed in New York State, our expertise includes the installation and maintenance of security and fire protection systems, structured cabling, access control and video surveillance solutions.

We also provide design recommendations and installation services for both inside distribution and outside plant systems.

Comprehensive project management service ensure your project stays on time and on budget. In addition to project management, our experienced field supervisor personnel assist with hands on management of day-to-day events on site and coordinate the complex functions of project schedules.

When ITZ completes your project, we provide complete testing and documentation of the installed system. When it comes to service and support, ITZ is there for you! We provide warranty support and additional services for additions, moves or changes to the original system installation.

We will partner with you, and your IT staff, to design and install a LAN Structured Cabling system that will provide an efficient robust network for your business while increasing office productivity.

  • Our Structured Cabling Systems encompass all requirements that a business may need including Voice, Data and Video as well as additional systems often needed by businesses such as Access Control, Fire and Intrusion and Video Surveillance. ITZ prides itself in offering Turn Key solutions that allow businesses to focus on their business and not ours.
  • ITZ is a certified Corning Cabling partner.

  • We install all types of Fiber Optic cabling including Indoor, Outdoor, Aerial and Direct Bury. We install short run cabling to connect network segments as well as long run cabling connecting multiple buildings in a campus environment. ITZ installs and terminates both Single Mode and Multimode Fiber. Our technicians install all types of Field Installed Connectors such as LC, ST, SC and utilize both UniCam and Fusion Spliced Pigtail terminating techniques

  • All of our Fiber Optic Installations are field tested and documented using Power Meter and Light Source test equipment. ITZ also offers service and repair services for existing installations.

We install cabling in many environments including indoor and underground conduit systems, direct bury and aerial attachments.
